SPECIAL - NARC Board and Field Trial Committee Memo

The NARC Board and the Field Trial Committee have determined the rotation will be altered from the literal wording in the NARC catalog in the pursuit of a fair rotation, due to the 3/4 Series being a single occurrence under judgement.

The rotation will be as if the Seventh Series was the Fifth before returning to the starting number to determine the rotation for the Seventh.

Essentially the word "fifth" will be replaced with the word "seventh" in the rotation language in the catalog.

Therefore the rotation is:

32 – 1st/2nd Series
63 – 3rd/4th Series
94 – 5th Series
1   – 6th Series
        7th Series determined by catalog rotation definition

Stop "Bugging" Me!

With the weather as beautiful as it is here in Mondovi, WI......there is one minor problem out here on the 1st and 2nd Series location (and perhaps to be continued).....the large amount of flying gnats and flies!!  Bug spray and Vanilla are being applied....but to little use....the gnats are attacking full force as we sit and try to type up the reports. They try to fly in your mouth, nose, ears, eyes!! They are insatiable it seems!!  In this battle, the score may be: Retriever News Team 0..and Gnats 20 ... for now....

Conditions Report

The wind is wistfully blowing through the trees and changing in all directions. This is making for pleasant spectating and great scenting conditions. The handlers have figured out how to complete the blind quickly and without hazard. Most dogs are doing a favorable job. The cotton ball like shaped clouds have moved in for partly cloudy conditions and a balmy temp of 84'F.
