Conditions REPORT
The sun is rising steadily in the East, however it is not drying out the cover from this heavy morning Dew. The dogs are coming off the line soaking wet and shaking off the moisture. This combination of heavy cover and dew is starting to affect the dogs ability to scent the rooster pheasants in the field.

Good Morning Retriever Enthusiasts!!!
We are here at the Fox Hollow Retrievers property preparing to watch the start of the 2013 National Amateur kick-off with Series 1 & 2.
Series 1 and 2 Test Descriptions...
Series 1....We are on top of a hill looking down into a valley. The sun is to the right of the test casting shade on the short retired gun, which is at 110 yards thrown to the left hard angle back, this bird is a dead rooster pheasant.
The go-bird is through the valley up a side hill to the right of the short retired. This bird is a rooster pheasant flyer shot flat to the right at 166 yards.
Both birds and gunners are very visible, however the cover is medium to heavy with a very heavy dew.
Series 2 is a land blind through the valley outside and deep left of the short retired bird. It too is a dead rooster pheasant. And the blind is at 150 yards.
Total test time for both series is 3 minutes and 34 seconds.
Rise & Shine
